E RAINBOW, which was fractious in the barriers, lifted its front feet off the ground as the start was effected and consequently lost ground. YEE CHEONG WARRIOR began only fairly. SPICY GRILL was hampered on jumping when crowded for room inside NEW ASIA ADVANCE which shifted in. NEW ASIA ADVANCE was then steadied to obtain cover in the early stages. After being ridden along in the early stages, KOKUSHI MUSOU was steadied passing the 1100 Metres to obtain cover. Rounding the Home Turn, WINS ALL was held up when racing close to the heels of HAPPY GATHERING. WINS ALL was then shifted in away from the heels of HAPPY GATHERING passing the 300 Metres. Passing the 150 Metres, YEE CHEONG WARRIOR was shifted in away from the heels of E RAINBOW which shifted in. E RAINBOW, which was finishing the race off, was then directed to the inside of BINGO BINGO approaching the 50 Metres to continue improving. After the race, L Hewitson stated that TAKE WHAT YOU NEED never travelled comfortably on tonight’s track surface and was under heavy pressure throughout the race to maintain its position. A veterinary inspection of TAKE WHAT YOU NEED immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. A veterinary inspection of SPICY GRILL immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in its trachea and also found the horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. Before being allowed to race again, SPICY GRILL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of MULTIMORE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. BINGO BINGO, ISLAND SHINE and WINS ALL were sent for sampling.
