STORM RUNNER (J452): Approaching the 350 Metres improved to the inside of HARRY’S HERO. A short distance later STORM RUNNER was then steadied to avoid GOLDEN FAIRY when being shifted to that runner’s outside to improve. Sent for sampling post-race.
WAH MAY WAI WAI (J193): Bumped shortly after the start.
WINDICATOR FAMILY (H419): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 400 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned behind MR ALADDIN.

LEATHER MASTER (H034): Raced keenly in the middle stages. Over the final 50 Metres could not be ridden out to the finish when held up behind WAH MAY WAI WAI. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
HARRY'S HERO (H332): Leaving the 600 Metres was steadied to avoid PERFECTO MOMENTS. After the event R Kingscote stated that his mount raced keenly in the middle stages and near the 1100 Metres was steadied to avoid PERFECTO MOMENTS. He added that as a result his mount finished the race off only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
PERFECTO MOMENTS (J003): Bumped shortly after the start. Near the 1100 Metres was steadied to avoid GOLDEN FAIRY when racing keenly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MR ALADDIN (H386): Jumped only fairly and made contact with the left side of its starting gate. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
YEABOI (G372): Jumped only fairly and then was crowded between HAKKA RADIANCE and HARRY’S HERO which shifted out. After the event M F Poon reported that his mount commenced to weaken when under pressure in the Home Straight and when he was concerned there may be something amiss he did not ride it out to the finish when not in a competitive position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being allowed to race again, YEABOI will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
