Entering the Back Straight, LUCKY MONEY STAR was taken wider when BRAVO HORSE shifted away from the fence into a one off position. As a consequence of this, LUCKY MONEY STAR raced wide and without cover for the remainder of the race. Near the 700 Metres, LAZY BUDDIES was crowded for room between SOUND OF SILENCE and COULDN’T CARE LESS which was taken in slightly by HEALTHY CONTENDER. Approaching the 200 Metres, LAZY BUDDIES was steadied and shifted in away from the heels of BRAVO HORSE which was giving ground. A veterinary inspection of MASTER TOWER after the race did not show any significant findings other than the horse had lost its left hind plate. LUCKY MONEY STAR, SPRING SMILES and STORM’S DESTINY were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that BRAVO HORSE had bled from both nostrils.
