Steward Report Predict Pace Map
SUPREME DE UNION was withdrawn on 22.2.10 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter MASCOT FORTUNE. Before being allowed to race again, SUPREME DE UNION will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. PACKING POWER was slow to begin. HAR HAR CHARMS bounded in the air at the start and consequently lost ground. From wide draws, EL ZONDA and MASCOT FORTUNE were taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Approaching the first turn, HAR HAR CHARMS got its head up and proved difficult to settle when being steadied away from the heels of ROYAL DOCTOR. Rounding the first turn passing the 600 Metres, AT MOMENT IN TIME got its head on the side and lay out. Near the 450 Meters, LONGWAH RISING got its head up and shifted out across the heels of ROYAL DOCTOR when racing tight inside that horse. In this incident, LONGWAH RISING lost ground. Throughout the race, TOWKAY FLYER travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of TOWKAY FLYER after the race did not show any significant findings. OUR PEGASUS and ROYAL DOCTOR were sent for sampling.
