SKY WALKER and MINGS’ HERO bumped at the start. As the start was effected, HELENE WITTY lifted its front feet off the ground and consequently was slow to begin. SLEEP WELL, which was leaning on the outside of its stall, began awkwardly. In the early stages, VIVA GUY was caught wide and without cover and near the 900 Metres was allowed to stride forward to race outside the leader, FORTUNE WINNER. A veterinary inspection of HOLD HANDS after the race did not show any significant findings. A veterinary inspection of FORTUNE WINNER after the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being allowed to race again, FORTUNE WINNER will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SLEEP WELL and VIVA GUY were sent for sampling.
