SHIFACHI TRADITION and WEALTH PARK bumped at the start. TELECOM SUPREMO shifted out at the start and bumped the hindquarters of SUNNY MORE. After this, despite being vigorously ridden along for some distance, TELECOM SUPREMO failed to muster speed. Then passing the winning post on the first occasion, TELECOM SUPREMO shifted in, resulting in EASTERN EMPIRE and VILASOL racing in restricted room to the inside of that horse. TELECOM SUPREMO was then shifted out to relieve the pressure to its inside and when racing wide and without cover was ridden to obtain a more forward position to race outside the lead near the 800 Metres. A veterinary inspection of VILASOL and EUPHEMISM after the race did not show any significant findings. TELECOM SUPREMO, SHIFACHI TRADITION and EASTERN EMPIRE and were sent for sampling.
