VICTORY MASCOT was slow to begin. From a wide barrier, INDUSTRIAL LEGEND was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. After passing the winning post on the first occasion, SUISSE D’OR was awkwardly placed close to the heels of OUR DYNASTY. Approaching the 1200 Metres, YOUNG HERO was left racing wide and without cover. Near the 700 Metres, REDOUTE STAR was steadied after racing tight between INDUSTRIAL LEGEND and WEALTH PARK which was taken out by SUISSE D’OR which shifted away from behind OUR DYNASTY after being awkwardly placed close to the heels of that horse. After the 600 Metres, SUISSE D’OR raced tight inside SOLAR WONDER which improved into tight running inside the heels of YOUNG HERO. At the 400 Metres, SUISSE D’OR was checked away from the heels of CASA JUNIOR. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that SUISSE D’OR had sustained a minor cut to the inside of the left front sesamoid. A veterinary inspection of INDUSTRIAL LEGEND after the race did not show any significant findings. TELECOM SUPREMO, VICTORY MASCOT and EASTERN EMPIRE were sent for sampling. <14/6/2012 Additional Veterinary Report> INDUSTRIAL LEGEND, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said at that time there were no significant findings. INDUSTRIAL LEGEND was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C H Yip this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, INDUSTRIAL LEGEND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
