VIVA DOLPHIN began awkwardly. From wide barriers, ALL MY GLORY and YOUNG HAPPY were taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, DYNAMIC CROSS shifted in and bumped HOLLYWOOD KISS. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, FLYING KEEPER shifted out abruptly and was awkwardly placed close to the heels of ABLE DRAGON. ALL MY GLORY, which was racing outside FLYING KEEPER, was shifted out away from the heels of that horse in consequence. Passing the 1300 Metres, ALL TIMES LUCKY was momentarily steadied away from the heels of HOLLYWOOD KISS. Near the 1150 Metres, GLOBAL FAME was awkwardly placed close to the heels of MARVEL PLUS. ALL MY GLORY, which was following, was steadied away from the heels of GLOBAL FAME in consequence. Near the 900 Metres, MARVEL PLUS got its head up when proving difficult to settle and being checked away from the heels of CASA JUNIOR which was awkwardly placed behind ALL TIMES LUCKY when travelling keenly. GLOBAL FAME, which was following, was steadied in consequence and near the 800 Metres shifted away from the heels of MARVEL PLUS into a position three wide without cover. WEALTH PARK was held up for clear running from on straightening until passing the 200 Metres when attempting to improve to the inside of HOLLYWOOD KISS which hung in and proved difficult to ride. Passing the 250 Metres, WEALTH PARK was struck across the nose by the whip of N Callan (DYNAMIC CROSS). The Stewards will interview Trainer S Woods regarding the improved performance of YOUNG HAPPY upon his return to Hong Kong. A veterinary inspection of HOLLYWOOD KISS immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucopus in the horse’s trachea. A veterinary inspection of ALL TIMES LUCKY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. ALL TIMES LUCKY, YOUNG HAPPY and CASA JUNIOR were sent for sampling.
