ENTHUSIASM, which was leaning on the outside of its stall, began awkwardly and shortly after the start was steadied away from the heels of FIONN’S TREASURE which shifted in. GO GO WIN was hampered on jumping due to OVETT shifting out. GALAXY PRANCER was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Also from wide barriers, GERONIMO MEADOW and KITAYA were shifted across behind runners in the early stages. FIONN’S TREASURE lost its left front plate approaching the 1000 Metres. After the 900 Metres, GO GO WIN was left racing wide and without cover. Rounding the Home Turn, GO GO WIN was bumped by SICHUAN VIGOUR which shifted out into clear running. Passing the 300 Metres, WAH MAY STAR broke down and shifted out abruptly, causing FIONN’S TREASURE to be severely checked and becoming badly unbalanced and in turn shifted out, resulting in GO GO WIN and ENTHUSIASM being severely hampered. WINNIE’S HORSE, which was following FIONN’S TREASURE, was also severely checked away from the heels of that horse in consequence. LUCKY BONUS was also hampered and PERFECT CHEERS inconvenienced. GALLANT TRIUMPH, OVETT and SICHUAN VIGOUR were sent for sampling.
