POLYMER WIN was withdrawn on 28.4.14 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore). ROCKET LET WIN was withdrawn on 29.4.14 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right hind). Before being allowed to race again, POLYMER WIN and ROCKET LET WIN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. GROOVY began awkwardly. Shortly after the start, EASY SUCCESS and SUPER ABUNDANTE bumped. Making the first turn near the 550 Metres, SKY MAN got its head on the side and lay out. SKY MAN continued to lay out until after entering the Straight. Rounding the Home Turn and in the early part of the Straight, TOUCH GO raced tight inside SUPER ABUNDANTE which improved into tight running inside SIGHT BELIEVER. Near the 350 Metres, GROOVY was awkwardly placed close to the heels of THE PRINCE. Near the 200 Metres, SUPER ABUNDANTE was shifted to the outside of SIGHT BELIEVER to obtain clear running. Over the final 100 Metres, ULTIMATE GLORY got its head on the side and lay in under pressure. A veterinary inspection of SKY MAN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. FUN ‘N’ GAMES and SIGHT BELIEVER were sent for sampling.
