M L Yeung dismounted HAPPY LIFE after that horse became fractious in the Parade Ring. GOOD CHOICE was crowded for room on jumping between LOTUS STRIKES BACK and TEN FLAMES, both of which shifted ground. After this, both GOOD CHOICE and TEN FLAMES were shifted across behind runners to obtain cover. Shortly after the start, KIRAM was awkwardly placed outside THUNDER STOMP which shifted out when being ridden along. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, MCQUEEN jumped a shadow, became badly unbalanced and shifted out when racing with its head up. Also passing the winning post on the first occasion, LITTLE ISLAND was awkwardly placed close to the heels of EASY HEDGE. Passing the 1300 Metres, EASY HEDGE was steadied away from the heels of MCQUEEN. When awkwardly placed behind MCQUEEN, EASY HEDGE shifted in and bumped KIRAM approaching the 1200 Metres. Passing the 1200 Metres, TEN FLAMES was checked away from the heels of LOTUS STRIKES BACK which was awkwardly placed behind HAPPY CONTENDER. A veterinary inspection of EASY HEDGE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. DR LISTENING and MCQUEEN were sent for sampling.
