SUPER FUN was slow to begin. SUPERICH began only fairly and shortly after the start was bumped by KA YING LEGEND which shifted in after initially shifting out and bumping BEAUTY LOYAL. HAPPY TIME shifted out at the start and bumped BEAUTY TIME. Shortly after the start, C P POWER raced in restricted room between JOY MASTER and GREEN CARD. Passing the 200 Metres, BEAUTY LOYAL was awkwardly placed outside the heels of SUPERICH which shifted out. For the majority of the race, NICE FANDANGO raced with its head on the side and lay in. The performances of VERY LUCKY and BEAUTY TIME, both of which finished tailed out, were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, VERY LUCKY and BEAUTY TIME will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of KA YING LEGEND immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious. A veterinary inspection of BEAUTY TIME immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SAUL’S SPECIAL and SUPERICH were sent for sampling.
