STIMULATION was crowded for room on jumping between JOLLY GENE and ROCKETEER which shifted out. From the outside barrier, SUPER CHIC was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. JOLLY GENE travelled wide and without cover until after the 1400 Metres. Approaching and passing the 1100 Metres, GLORIOUS FOREVER got its head up when awkwardly placed inside the heels of JOLLY GENE. Passing the 650 Metres, JOLLY GENE was taken wider by GLORIOUS FOREVER. Approaching the 200 Metres, INSAYSHABLE shifted out under pressure and raced tight inside GLORIOUS FOREVER (Z Purton). Then at the 200 Metres, INSAYSHABLE was struck across the nose by the whip of Z Purton. Z Purton was shown the video of this incident and advised to take measures to ensure that his whip does not make contact with another horse or rider wherever possible. Over the concluding stages, SUPER CHIC was not able to be fully tested when racing tight inside the heels of INSAYSHABLE (J Moreira), resulting in J Moreira having to stop riding his mount with the whip and straighten his mount. STIMULATION lay in under pressure in the Straight. K Teetan (ROCKETEER) was reminded of his obligation in respect of not using the whip on a horse out of contention. GLORIOUS FOREVER and INSAYSHABLE were sent for sampling.
