SAVANNAH WIND shifted in at the start and bumped RIGHT HONOURABLE which became unbalanced.
SICHUAN BOSS began only fairly.
TEN FLAMES was crowded for room on jumping between WALDORF and SWEETIE BARLEY which shifted in.
From wide barriers, ULTIMATE DREAM and ENORMOUS HONOUR were steadied and shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Despite being ridden along in the early stages, SPARKLING SWORD was slow to muster speed and then raced wide and without cover until after the 800 Metres at which time the horse improved its position to race outside the lead.
A short distance after the start, SICHUAN BOSS was awkwardly placed outside SAVANNAH WIND which shifted out.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, TEN FLAMES raced tight inside SAVANNAH WIND which was awkwardly placed inside the heels of ULTIMATE DREAM.
Passing the 800 Metres, SAVANNAH WIND got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of RIGHT HONOURABLE and shifted out, resulting in SAVANNAH WIND racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 250 Metres, SWEETIE BARLEY raced tight between SICHUAN BOSS and LETSGOFREE which shifted to the outside of SPARKLING SWORD to obtain clear running.
Close to the finishing line, MEGATRON was awkwardly placed inside the heels of GARLIC YEAH.
In the Straight, ULTIMATE DREAM lay in and proved difficult to ride.
Also in the Straight, GARLIC YEAH lay in and proved reluctant to shift to the outside of SPARKLING SWORD, resulting in GARLIC YEAH being awkwardly placed for some distance close to the heels of SPARKLING SWORD approaching and passing the 150 Metres. Then near the 100 Metres, GARLIC YEAH was shifted to the inside of SPARKLING SWORD.
A veterinary inspection of TEN FLAMES and ULTIMATE DREAM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
RIGHT HONOURABLE and LETSGOFREE were sent for sampling.
