WHISTLE UP was withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, WHISTLE UP will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
VICTOR EMPEROR was withdrawn prior to Race 1 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (swollen left knee). Before being allowed to race again, VICTOR EMPEROR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
HAPPY SOUND began awkwardly and then, despite being ridden along for a considerable distance in the early stages, failed to muster speed.
FIRST BEAUT and RICHCITY FORTUNE bumped at the start.
A short distance after the start, PERFECT CHOICE shifted out and bumped FIRST BEAUT, resulting in both horses becoming unbalanced.
From the outside barrier, COUR VALANT was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Making the first turn after the 600 Metres, COUR VALANT got its head on the side and lay out badly.
Approaching and passing the 200 Metres, ACTUARIAT was awkwardly placed outside the heels of RAICHU which shifted out marginally under pressure.
Throughout the race, RICHCITY FORTUNE travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of RAICHU and FIRST BEAUT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ACTUARIAT, DRAGON DANCE and SPORTS MASTER were sent for sampling.
