On arrival at the Start, the tongue tie fitted to ARCADA was replaced. WARM THE VOICE shifted in at the start and bumped THE JUDGE. THUNDER STOMP shifted out at the start and bumped ALL YOU KNOW. THUNDER STOMP then became unbalanced and shifted in, resulting in WINNING ENDEAVOUR being crowded for room outside LET’S TAKE IT EASY which shifted out. From wide barriers, ALL YOU KNOW, HAR HAR HEART and ELECTRIC LIGHTNING were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 1600 Metres, ALL YOU KNOW was shifted in and bumped WINNING ENDEAVOUR. Approaching the 1300 Metres, ELECTRIC LIGHTNING raced tight inside LET’S TAKE IT EASY. Passing the 1100 Metres, WINNING ENDEAVOUR got its head on the side and lay out. ELECTRIC LIGHTNING, which was following, was inconvenienced in consequence. When racing wide and without cover, CIRCUIT HASSLER was ridden along for a considerable distance after the 900 Metres, however, was unable to clear runners to its inside to race closer to the rail. Both HAR HAR HEART and ALL YOU KNOW were held up for clear running rounding the Home Turn. In the early part of the Straight, LET’S TAKE IT EASY was awkwardly placed behind WINNING ENDEAVOUR. After the 200 Metres, ALL YOU KNOW shifted out under pressure and after being corrected near the 100 Metres then shifted in over the concluding stages. Throughout the race, both WARM THE VOICE and CIRCUIT HASSLER travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. A veterinary inspection of WARM THE VOICE and CIRCUIT HASSLER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. ARCADA and HAR HAR HEART were sent for sampling. <21/2/2019 Additional Veterinary Report>WARM THE VOICE, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. WARM THE VOICE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K W Lui this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, WARM THE VOICE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
