PRECIOUS SWEETIE was withdrawn on 25.2.19 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (substantial amount of blood in trachea on scoping after track work) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter THE SHOW. Before being allowed to race again, PRECIOUS SWEETIE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SUPER MODEL began very awkwardly and lost ground. EVERBRAVE was crowded for room on jumping between WAH MAY PRINCESS and NICE KICK, both of which shifted ground. SUPER LEADER and SPRING WIN were steadied in the early stages to obtain cover. From the outside barrier, BLINK OF A SECOND was steadied and shifted across behind runners in the early stages, however, after the 900 Metres was left racing wide and without cover. Approaching the 250 Metres, THE SHOW was directed to the outside of EXCEPTIONAL DESIRE to obtain clear running. After attempting to improve inside WAH MAY PRINCESS where there was insufficient room, EVERBRAVE was shifted to the outside of that horse passing the 250 Metres to obtain clear running. Near the 50 Metres, T H So (LETSGOFREE) dropped his right rein. At the 50 Metres, SUPER MODEL was shifted in away from the heels of EXCEPTIONAL DESIRE. WAH MAY PRINCESS and THE SHOW were sent for sampling.
