BEAUTY CHARISMA began awkwardly and then, despite being ridden along for some distance in the early stages, took time to muster speed. BEAUTY CHARISMA consequently travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground.
DRAGON PIONEER began only fairly and then, despite being ridden along in the early stages, failed to muster speed.
Shortly after the start, VERY RICH MAN and STORM SIGNAL raced tight.
Near the 450 Metres, HARD PROMISE was momentarily shifted in away from the heels of BEAUTY CHARISMA as that horse commenced to give ground.
Rounding the Home Turn, BALTIC WHISPER got its head on the side and lay out.
Near the 350 Metres, DRAGON PIONEER raced tight inside VERY RICH MAN.
Passing the 300 Metres, CALIFORNIA ARCHER was shifted to the inside of DRAGON PIONEER.
Near the 50 Metres, SPECIAL STARS shifted in marginally and brushed JUMBO PRIZE.
Throughout the race, VERY RICH MAN travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that STORM SIGNAL had bled from both nostrils.
A veterinary inspection of OOGA CHAKA, BEAUTY CHARISMA and VERY RICH MAN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SPECIAL STARS and JUMBO PRIZE were sent for sampling.
