BRAVE BABY began awkwardly and then was taken out marginally by FANTASTIC FABIO which resulted in BRAVE BABY bumping TREASURE CHEST. BRAVE BABY then became unbalanced and shifted out further, resulting in TREASURE CHEST again being bumped and taken out across MR DARTHVEGAR which, after beginning only fairly, was then checked when crowded for room inside SWOT TROOPERS WIND which was hampered after being bumped by MR DARTHVEGAR.
From a wide barrier, SIMPLY FLUKE was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
After the 900 Metres, LADY FIRST commenced to travel very keenly and was steadied away from the heels of E GENERATION for some distance.
Approaching the 500 Metres, LADY FIRST was awkwardly placed inside the heels of PLAY TO WIN as a result of both horses shifting marginally.
Approaching the 200 Metres, TREASURE CHEST shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of PLAY TO WIN. TREASURE CHEST was then awkwardly placed outside BRAVE BABY as that horse gave ground passing the 200 Metres.
Near the 50 Metres, THE ONE raced tight inside THE SHOW which shifted in away from SIMPLY FLUKE.
A veterinary inspection of BRAVE BABY and PLAY TO WIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LADY FIRST, MASTER ALBERT and SIMPLY FLUKE were sent for sampling.
