TRUST ME and SEVEN HEAVENS bumped at the start. After being shifted across behind runners, TRUST ME was then vigorously ridden in the early and middle stages to improve its position. STORM WARNINGS shifted in on jumping and bumped CALIFORNIA ARCHER. HAPPY QIJI was crowded for room on jumping between WAR OF COURAGE and METRO WARRIOR which shifted in. TAKINGUFURTHER shifted out at the start and bumped SUPER COMMANDER which was then awkwardly placed close to the heels of CUE THE MUSIC. Near the 750 Metres, SUPER COMMANDER raced tight outside CUE THE MUSIC which raced tight outside METRO WARRIOR. Over the concluding stages, WAR OF COURAGE lay out under pressure. The performance of GOOD LUCK CHARM, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, GOOD LUCK CHARM will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of GOOD LUCK CHARM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. After the race, H T Mo (BALTIC WHISPER) stated that the horse was always under pressure throughout the race and did not travel well.
