ALL THE WAY was slow to begin. After beginning awkwardly from the outside barrier, JOYFUL MOMENTS was then shifted across behind runners soon after the start. PAKISTAN ZINDABAD shifted in at the start and made contact with the hindquarters of TAKINGUFURTHER. After making contact with TAKINGUFURTHER, PAKISTAN ZINDABAD became unbalanced and shifted out soon after the start, resulting in NORDIC WARRIOR being checked when crowded for room between PAKISTAN ZINDABAD and GOOD BUDDY which was taken in by YOUR NAME. Approaching the first turn near the 1000 Metres, YOUR NAME commenced to race very greenly and shifted in despite the efforts of its rider, resulting in GOOD BUDDY being inconvenienced. YOUR NAME then got its head up, ran out abruptly on the first turn and lost a considerable amount of ground. YOUR NAME continued to race very greenly along the Back Straight and subsequently finished tailed out. A veterinary inspection of YOUR NAME immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The racing manners and performance of YOUR NAME, which was having its first race start tonight, were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, YOUR NAME will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial around a bend and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Approaching the 800 Metres, PAKISTAN ZINDABAD was steadied when racing in restricted room between TAKINGUFURTHER and GOOD BUDDY which was taken in marginally by EVER FORCE. Approaching the 600 Metres, TELECOM PUMA was left racing wide and without cover. At the entrance to the Straight, NORDIC WARRIOR made contact with PAKISTAN ZINDABAD when improving into tight running between that horse and GOOD BUDDY. Passing the 300 Metres, A SMILE LIKE YOURS shifted out around the heels of HAPPY TIME and consequently made contact with EVER FORCE which became unbalanced. A SMILE LIKE YOURS and EVER FORCE again made contact passing the 100 Metres. A veterinary inspection of TAKINGUFURTHER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. A SMILE LIKE YOURS, NORDIC WARRIOR and SHINING ON were sent for sampling.
