SPONTANEOUS began awkwardly, shifted out abruptly and bumped SKY CHAMPION which was crowded for room inside THE MINT which on jumping was bumped on the hindquarters by SPLIT OF A SECOND which shifted in.
From the outside barriers, GRACYLOVE and E HONEY were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
When being steadied in the early stages from a wide barrier to obtain cover, FIGURES TWO travelled very keenly and passing the 1100 Metres was bumped by SPLIT OF A SECOND which was taken out by THE MINT.
Passing the 900 Metres, SKY CHAMPION was steadied away from the heels of SPLIT OF A SECOND (M F Poon) which shifted in when not quite clear. M F Poon was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground in similar circumstances.
After the 900 Metres, SUPREME PLUS was taken in by THE MINT which shifted in abruptly before being directed back out.
A veterinary inspection of MAXIMIZE HEART and GRACYLOVE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
EVER FORCE and SPONTANEOUS were sent for sampling.
