On leaving the Parade Ring, SUPER WIN DRAGON kicked a rail. On arrival at the Start, SUPER WIN DRAGON was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. SUPER WIN DRAGON began awkwardly and then on jumping became unbalanced after shifting out towards MIG ENERGY which shifted in after being bumped by CHICKEN DANCE. POWER KOEPP shifted out at the start and bumped KILLER BEE. From wide barriers, HARMONY WIN WIN, WINSTON’S LAD and CLASSIC POSH were all steadied in the early stages to obtain cover. Passing the 1100 Metres, CHICKEN DANCE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of METRO WARRIOR which shifted in before being directed out to relieve the tightening to CHICKEN DANCE. Approaching the 900 Metres, NAMJONG SINGS was awkwardly placed outside the heels of SUPER WIN DRAGON which shifted out. After the 900 Metres, CHICKEN DANCE was left racing wide and without cover. Passing the 800 Metres, SUPER WIN DRAGON got its head up and lay out. TORNADO TWIST then improved into very tight running between HERCULES and SUPER WIN DRAGON which continued to lay out. Passing the 600 Metres, TORNADO TWIST was steadied away from the heels of METRO WARRIOR. POWER KOEPP, which was following TORNADO TWIST and travelling keenly, shifted out away from the heels of that horse, resulting in SUPER WIN DRAGON being crowded for room inside NAMJONG SINGS. Approaching the 300 Metres, SUPER WIN DRAGON momentarily raced in restricted room between NAMJONG SINGS and POWER KOEPP which shifted out. Approaching the 200 Metres, HARMONY WIN WIN shifted in under pressure and passing the 200 Metres was directed out away from the heels of NAMJONG SINGS to continue improving. After the 200 Metres, CLASSIC POSH lay in under pressure. Throughout the race, KILLER BEE travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of CHICKEN DANCE and SUPER WIN DRAGON immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. KILLER BEE and METRO WARRIOR were sent for sampling.
