STRIVE FOR GLORY reared as the start was effected and lost ground. OUR CLASS ACT was crowded for room on jumping between VITRALITE and PLEASANT ENDEAVOR, both of which shifted ground. DECISIVE TWELVE shifted in at the start and bumped BIZ POWER. A short distance later, PEGASUS GLORY shifted out, resulting in BIZ POWER becoming badly unbalanced when crowded for room inside DECISIVE TWELVE. After this, BIZ POWER was shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier to obtain cover. From the outside barrier, GOOD HEALTH was also steadied in the early stages to obtain cover. Passing the 1000 Metres, PLEASANT ENDEAVOR was momentarily steadied away from the heels of WAR OF COURAGE (M Chadwick) which shifted in. M Chadwick was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances. OUR CLASS ACT, which was following PLEASANT ENDEAVOR, commenced to travel keenly and was steadied away from the heels of that horse in consequence. Near the 850 Metres, ROYAL PRIDE raced tight inside VITRALITE which was taken in by PLEASANT ENDEAVOR which got its head on the side and lay in away from BABY when awkwardly placed close to the heels of STORM WARNINGS. After this, ROYAL PRIDE continued to race in restricted room inside VITRALITE and near the 650 Metres became unbalanced when steadied away from the heels of VITRALITE which continued to race tight inside PLEASANT ENDEAVOR Throughout the race, DECISIVE TWELVE and PEGASUS GLORY travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of DECISIVE TWELVE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SPEEDY MOUSE and WAR OF COURAGE were sent for sampling.
