NABOO ATTACK was withdrawn on 25.6.21 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, NABOO ATTACK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
TRILLION WIN (A Badel) and MASSIVE POCKET bumped heavily at the start. TRILLION WIN then shifted out, resulting in WIND N GRASS being momentarily crowded for room inside HIGHLY PROACTIVE. A Badel stated that after making contact with MASSIVE POCKET, TRILLION WIN became unbalanced and then did not travel as well as he anticipated. He said whilst TRILLION WIN finished off the race satisfactorily, the horse did not feel completely comfortable in its action. A veterinary inspection of TRILLION WIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ROMAN TURBO (C Y Ho) began awkwardly, shifted out and was steadied away from the heels of HONG KONG WIN. After this, ROMAN TURBO was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover. After the race, C Y Ho stated that ROMAN TURBO did not travel strongly at any stage of the race and failed to finish off the race after being placed under pressure in the Straight. He said when under pressure, ROMAN TURBO did not feel comfortable in its action. A veterinary inspection of ROMAN TURBO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, ROMAN TURBO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
From wide barriers, CONGRATULATION and MR CROISSANT were shifted across behind runners in the early stages to obtain cover.
Passing the 400 Metres, WIND N GRASS was shifted out away from the heels of MASSIVE POCKET to continue improving.
Passing the 300 Metres, MASSIVE POCKET was disappointed for running between FLYING GENIUS and VICTORIAM which improved to be racing inside the heels of HIGHLY PROACTIVE after being awkwardly placed inside the heels of that horse approaching the 300 Metres.
Throughout the race, HONG KONG WIN travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that MASSIVE POCKET had bled from both nostrils
A veterinary inspection of CONGRATULATION immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
TRILLION WIN, HIGHLY PROACTIVE and SHINING ACE were sent for sampling.
