GREAT TIMES shifted in at the start and inconvenienced FORTUNE TRIPLE.
From wide barriers, STAR OF GLORY, GO GO SIXTEEN, WEALTHY EMPLOYEE and SKY GEM were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages to obtain cover.
GREAT TIMES got its head up shortly after the start when being steadied to obtain cover.
After travelling a short distance, FORTUNE PATROL was awkwardly placed outside the heels of ALEE KING PRAWN which shifted out.
Approaching the 1400 Metres, AEROSONIC was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 700 Metres, AEROSONIC raced tight outside CROWN AVENUE when taken wider by that horse which shifted to the outside of SMILING FACE.
Passing the 500 Metres, TURF BRILLIANT was checked away from the heels of AEROSONIC when attempting to improve between that horse and WEALTHY EMPLOYEE which shifted out.
Approaching the 300 Metres, ALEE KING PRAWN was awkwardly placed inside FORTUNE PATROL which shifted in to obtain clear running.
STAR OF GLORY had some difficulty obtaining clear running passing the 300 Metres and was then shifted out a number of horses to obtain clear running near the 250 Metres.
After the race, J Moreira stated that after racing in restricted room between WEALTHY EMPLOYEE and TURF BRILLIANT passing the 600 Metres, SKY GEM immediately came off the bridle and then did not finish the race off. A veterinary inspection of SKY GEM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
DAILY CHARM, FORTUNE PATROL and CROWN AVENUE were sent for sampling.
