BELUGA and SOULMATE bumped at the start. GORYTUS was crowded for room shortly after the start between SAVAQUIN and CHARITY GO which was taken in by MONEY CATCHER which got its head on the side and shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. After this, GORYTUS and CHARITY GO were shifted across behind runners. Also shortly after the start, TIANCHI MONSTER shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of SAVAQUIN which became unbalanced. After being shifted out in an attempt to improve between SOULMATE and MONEY CATCHER passing the 300 Metres, BELUGA was then disappointed for running between those horses passing the 200 Metres. BELUGA was then held up for clear running from near the 175 Metres until passing the 50 Metres at which time BELUGA was directed to the inside of SOULMATE to obtain clear running. Approaching the 200 Metres, SAVAQUIN was shifted to the inside of TIANCHI MONSTER to continue improving. Approaching the 50 Metres, MONEY CATCHER raced tight outside SOULMATE which shifted out under pressure. BELUGA, SOULMATE and MONEY CATCHER were sent for sampling.
