FARSHAD began awkwardly, shifted out and brushed the hindquarters of HAPPY LAND. SWOT TROOPERS WIND began only fairly. AMIGOS GIGGLE and SMOOTHIES brushed at the start. Then from wide barriers, AMIGOS GIGGLE and SMOOTHIES were shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Also from the outside barriers, KUNGFUMASTER PANDA and RATTAN KINGDOM were steadied to obtain cover shortly after the start. Passing the 1600 Metres, HAPPY LAND shifted in and bumped OUR CREED which became unbalanced. Then after the 1500 Metres, HAPPY LAND raced tight between JADE PHOENIX and OUR CREED which shifted out. Near the 1500 Metres, OUR CLASS ACT was awkwardly placed outside the heels of CORDYCEPS ONE when being steadied to obtain cover behind that horse. After this, OUR CLASS ACT travelled keenly and raced close to the heels of CORDYCEPS ONE approaching and passing the winning post on the first occasion. OUR CLASS ACT then continued to prove difficult to settle and was restrained away from the heels of CORDYCEPS ONE for some distance as CORDYCEPS ONE was steadied behind HAPPY LAND. AMIGOS GIGGLE, which was following OUR CLASS ACT, shifted out abruptly away from the heels of that horse in consequence passing the 1300 Metres. OUR CLASS ACT then continued to travel keenly and remained awkwardly placed behind CORDYCEPS ONE for some distance in the middle stages. Near the 450 Metres, SMOOTHIES was steadied away from the heels of SWOT TROOPERS WIND and lay in, resulting in KUNGFUMASTER PANDA momentarily racing in restricted room inside SMOOTHIES approaching the 400 Metres. KUNGFUMASTER PANDA again raced tight inside SMOOTHIES rounding the Home Turn. Near the 75 Metres, SWOT TROOPERS WIND was directed out away from the heels of FARSHAD which shifted out marginally. A veterinary inspection of SWOT TROOPERS WIND and KUNGFUMASTER PANDA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. OUR CREED, CORDYCEPS ONE and JADE PHOENIX were sent for sampling.
