STRONGER stumbled on jumping and a short distance after the start was bumped by LUCKY PATCH which was taken out by HARMONY AND RICH. Approaching and passing the 300 Metres, SUPER WEALTHY raced tight outside SKY FIELD which shifted out under pressure. Passing the 200 Metres, CORDYCEPS SIX lay out and bumped the hindquarters of HARMONY AND RICH. After this, CORDYCEPS SIX (A Badel) continued to lay out and passing the 150 Metres shifted out when being ridden along, resulting in HARMONY AND RICH being crowded for room inside SKY FIELD. A Badel was reprimanded and told that in similar circumstances he would be expected to make every endeavour to prevent his mounts from shifting ground. After the race, L Currie reported that the intention was to ride SKY FIELD from off the pace today. He said however that the horse began very well and rather than restrain his mount he allowed SKY FIELD to race where it was comfortable. SUPER WEALTHY and CORDYCEPS SIX were sent for sampling.
