TAKE IT EASY, which was standing badly, was slow to begin. HAPPY AMBASSADOR was slow to begin and was then steadied away from the heels of BATURO which shifted out. ISTIDE was slow to begin and then throughout the race travelled wide and without cover. Near the 900 Metres, HAPPY AMBASSADOR became unbalanced and lost ground when racing greenly while awkwardly placed between FEEL-SO-GOOD and BATURO which shifted in slightly. GREAT HERO, which was following BATURO, was inconvenienced. At the 800 Metres, when HAPPY AMBASSADOR was shifted to a position on the rail, TAKE IT EASY, which was following, was momentarily steadied. Making the turn at the 600 Metres and again at the 500 Metres, MAINLAND MASTER became unbalanced and bumped the running rail. After the 600 Metres, BATURO became unbalanced when crowded for room between FEEL-SO-GOOD and ISTIDE. Approaching the 200 Metres, FEEL-SO-GOOD, which was experiencing difficulty obtaining clear running, was steadied and shifted to the outside of DIVINE TOUCH to go forward. After the 200 Metres, TAKE IT EASY was shifted wider to obtain clear running. HAPPY AMBASSADOR and FEEL-SO-GOOD were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported MAINLAND MASTER had sustained a cut wound to its left front fetlock.
