SIXTY SECONDS was withdrawn on 11.12.07 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (fever). Before being allowed to race again, SIXTY SECONDS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. After being boxed, INVESTAR became very fractious. Before being allowed to race again, INVESTAR will have to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. ROMANTIC GREEN, which was fractious in the stall, reared and then on jumping bounded in the air and lost ground. PURE ALPHA was taken across behind runners on jumping. Shortly after the start, GALLANT FALCON was bumped by INVESTAR which shifted ground after being bumped by MARVELLOUS. Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, KING OF SHAVER was steadied away from the heels of INVESTAR. Also approaching the winning post on the first occasion, MARVELLOUS was bumped by MY LUCK which shifted in. Throughout the race, CLASSIC KING travelled wide and without cover. Y T Cheng (PURE ALPHA) explained for some distance after the 200 Metres he steadied his mount when endeavouring to improve between INVESTAR and THAT’S IT which got its head on the side and commenced to shift in. He said when THAT’S IT shifted back out and provided him with clear running after the 100 Metres, he again commenced to ride PURE ALPHA out. The explanation submitted by Y T Cheng was accepted. ROMANTIC GREEN and KING OF SHAVER were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of ROMANTIC GREEN and KING OF SHAVER after the race did not show any significant findings. MY LUCK and MARVELLOUS were sent for sampling.
