After being boxed, OPERA MAGIC became fractious and broke through. OPERA MAGIC was quickly reined in and returned to the Start where it was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. Before being allowed to race again, OPERA MAGIC will have to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. NATURAL FATCHOY was slow to begin and as a consequence travelled well back. PRESTO began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped BUCCANEER. In the middle stages and making the Home Turn, HEART TO HEART hung out. After the 300 Metes, BUCCANEER was shifted wider on the track to obtain clear running. Throughout the race, KINGSTON TEMPLE travelled wide and without cover. OPERA MAGIC was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of OPERA MAGIC after the race did not show any significant findings. PRESTO and MOSHI MOSHI were sent for sampling.
