THE WORLD OF LOVE began awkwardly, got its head up, bumped with HANDSOME TARGET and was then taken across behind runners. From wide barriers, in the early stages GILDED FLIGHT and MASSIVE STAR were taken across behind runners. Despite being ridden along in the early stages, RELY ON ME failed to muster speed. Near the 1000 Metres, SOLAR MIGHTY was momentarily steadied away from the heels of DOUBLE LUCK which shifted in when only just clear. After the 600 Metres, TRULLI was steadied when awkwardly placed between RELY ON ME and HARB. After the 500 Metres, HARB was bumped by SOLAR MIGHTY. Making the Home Turn, HANDSOME TARGET was carried wider by MASSIVE STAR which hung out and shifted ground. On straightening, RELY ON ME was steadied away from the heels of ONE WORLD. At the 350 Metres, HARB was steadied when disappointed for running between SOLAR MIGHTY and TEAM WORK which shifted out. At the 100 Metres, MASSIVE STAR was steadied when awkwardly placed between HANDSOME TARGET and GILDED FLIGHT which had been hanging out and at this time shifted ground. Over the concluding stages, DOUBLE LUCK shifted wider on the track while being ridden out. Throughout the race, SOLAR MIGHTY travelled wide and without cover. SOLAR MIGHTY was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SOLAR MIGHTY after the race did not show any significant findings. ONE WORLD and DOUBLE LUCK were sent for sampling.
