On jumping, CRUSH ON YOU was taken across behind runners. SUPER CEE JAY began awkwardly and lost ground. From an awkward draw, WILD ACE was taken back in the early stages, then after the 800 Metres was left racing wide and without cover. With the intention of being ridden quietly, DIVINE TOUCH was taken back in the early stages, then approaching the turn at the 600 Metres when travelling keenly lay in on CRUSH ON YOU and as a consequence both horses were steadied. Approaching the turn at the 600 Metres, KING CREOLE was checked when crowded for room inside SUPER CEE JAY which got its head on the side and shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. CRUSH ON YOU, which was following and racing tight inside DIVINE TOUCH, was checked in consequence. In the circumstances, no action was taken. At the 250 Metres, MAGIC TURBO was steadied and shifted out away from the heels of MASTER OF SHAVERS which was carried in by MY PRIDE which in the Straight hung in and proved difficult to ride. At the 100 Metres, KING CREOLE was steadied when momentarily crowded for room inside MASTER OF SHAVERS, then over the concluding stages KING CREOLE had difficulty obtaining clear running and because of this was not ridden out to the end of the race as it normally would be. After the 50 Metres, MAGIC TURBO, which was closing the race off, was steadied when disappointed for running between MY PRIDE and SUPER FANTASY. After this, MAGIC TURBO was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SUPER FANTASY and because of this was not ridden out to the end of the race. CRUSH ON YOU, which was following, was steadied away from the heels of MAGIC TURBO and was also not ridden out to the end of the race. KING CREOLE was sent for an official veterinary inspection and sampling. CRUSH ON YOU was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of KING CREOLE and CRUSH ON YOU after the race did not show any significant findings. ELECTRONIC MASTER and SUPER FANTASY were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported SUPER CEE JAY had sustained a large cut wound to the right hind fetlock. Before being allowed to race again, SUPER CEE JAY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
