MY WAY was withdrawn on 20.9.08 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, MY WAY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. WINNING FIRST was slow to begin. SCOOT DA LOOT began awkwardly, shifted in, bumped the hindquarters of COSMO SUCCESSOR, then shifted out and bumped SUPER which had begun awkwardly and lost ground. Y T Cheng (SUPER) reported that approaching the winning post his saddle shifted backward. COSMO SUCCESSOR and HAPPEE GIFT were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of COSMO SUCCESSOR and HAPPEE GIFT after the race did not show any significant findings. LUCKY RED and THE ONLY KID were sent for sampling.
