Five weeks ago, in a Happy Valley mile race, performance was subpar; it led but faded significantly. A subsequent barrier trial showed moderate form. Returning from a dirt mile run, this horse carries no additional weight for this race. It has past results over this distance, with comparable times to its group. Capable of tracking the pace-setting leaders and potentially leading itself, morning workouts indicate improvement. Despite an unfavorable outside draw, if it jumps cleanly and maintains a forward position, securing a place in the top finishers should be achievable.
