On March 11th (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-1), the horse broke well and showed good speed throughout. On February 25th (turf trial 1000m: 4-3-7), it started at a moderate pace but faded significantly in the final stages. A further turf trial on March 21st (1000m: 2-3-5) saw a steady performance with no obvious issues. Last race, prior to March, was a straight course event where performance fell short of expectations; a slow start meant it settled towards the back but finished strongly. Following a short break, three barrier trials showed improvement. Another Sha Tin turf trial over 1200m has been completed, and this time with a five-pound weight reduction. Having previously performed well over this distance, the tactics will be to settle back in the field and rely on a strong finishing kick – considered the strongest amongst its group. A final gallop before racing indicates improving condition. Despite potentially unfavorable competition times, the horse is expected to have something up its sleeve.
