Four weeks ago, over Sha Tin’s 1200m turf, it ran a decent race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before showing a strong late surge, finishing fifth beaten two and a half lengths. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. Now stepping up to Sha Tin’s 1400m for its debut on turf, this horse races without any additional weight and has drawn an advantageous inside barrier; a hold-up tactic is expected with a strong finishing kick anticipated, giving it a favorable chance in the field. Based on ability, it appears the most capable contender in this race.
