On March 28th, a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m saw the horse perform satisfactorily, racing prominently and maintaining a straight course. Six weeks prior, in a race over the same distance, it displayed excellent form, jumping slowly but finishing strongly with fast closing sections to secure second place, losing by half a length—a high-level performance. A subsequent barrier trial was deemed up to standard. This time, the horse will not carry additional weight and appears to have the best time within its group; the plan is to settle back in the field and rely on a strong finishing kick, which is considered the strongest in the race. Trainer and jockey are confident, despite an unfavorable outside barrier draw, they believe it can return to peak form.
