It jumped slowly and settled towards the back before making a move in the middle stages, but ultimately couldn’t sustain the effort to win, finishing second by half a length. This time it carries only a one-pound penalty, with comparable times from its rivals; it has the potential to track the leading pace setters or even lead itself. The trainer and jockey are working well together, and morning training suggests consistent improvement, however, it's drawn an outside barrier which will hinder its finishing kick and puts it at a disadvantage. A holding pattern is expected.
