Earlier on April 15th, in a Conghua turf trial over 800m, it briefly surged several times within the barrier before settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a consistent pace. Before May, this horse ran poorly in a straight-course race, settling in a good position while maintaining a steady pace but lacking a strong finishing kick. After a long break, it has completed three trials without impressive results. Returning to racing at Happy Valley over 1200m this time with a 2lb weight reduction and a less favorable time difference compared to its rivals, even considering prior records in the distance and securing a good barrier draw for an early speed tactic, its chances appear limited.
