On May 23rd, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse showing promise with something left in reserve. Five weeks prior, over the same distance, it delivered an excellent performance, jumping slowly but settling towards the rear before finishing strongly in the final two sections to secure third place, beaten by half a length. A recent barrier trial was satisfactory. Returning from its last spell, this time carrying a 2lb weight reduction, despite having previously won twice over this course and distance, and with comparable section times within the group. While training has been stepped up, it is expected to race from behind, however, the finishing kick may not be strong enough to compete with rivals, and the overall situation isn't particularly favourable; aiming for a good run.
