Three weeks ago, this horse ran well over a Sha Tin 1200m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before making ground with fast sections in the final two furlongs. He finished eighth, beaten three lengths. Now stepping up to a Sha Tin 1400m for his first attempt at this distance, he will carry an additional two pounds. The longer trip is not considered ideal and a hold-up tactic is expected; however, his finishing kick may not be strong enough against the competition. Although the barrier draw is favorable, connections are hoping to conserve energy.
