Three weeks ago in a similar race, it performed well, jumping slowly but finishing with a strong two-section pace to secure third place, beaten by only two lengths. A recent barrier trial didn’t reveal much. This time, carrying one pound less weight, the horse has proven form over this distance, good section times within its group, and an advantageous barrier draw. The expected tactics are to settle back in the field and rely on a strong finishing kick; the work is encouraging, suggesting it could be competitive immediately.
