On September 1st (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 5-3-7), the horse travelled on the outside rail without being fully tested. On August 21st (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 6-6-5), it lacked early speed but made some ground under strong riding. This is its seasonal debut, having undergone two barrier trials with unremarkable results. Another turf trial over 1600m at Sha Tin followed, and this time the horse benefits from a 2lb weight reduction and an outside draw. The plan is to settle towards the rear of the field, however, the finishing kick was not as strong as its rivals indicating a disadvantageous position. Despite this, comparable times within the group suggest adequate preparation, potentially offering each-way value.
