Three weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Sha Tin 1200m turf race, settling in a good position tracking the leaders and making a mid-race move but ultimately fading badly. On debut at Happy Valley over 1200m, it will carry a seven-pound weight reduction, however, the distance is unfavorable and drew a poor barrier. Finishing kick was lacking, resulting in a disadvantageous situation; despite showing enough pace to track the leaders, it could only maintain that speed and finished with an increased effort at the gate. This run can be considered a trial race.
