MARK THE MOMENT jumped only fairly.
EVERYONE’S VICTORY jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
SUGAR SUGAR was slow to begin and then was crowded by BEAR SLAM which shifted out.
Near the 800 Metres, GUMMY GUMMY shifted out and made contact with ELON when both runners contested a position with cover behind SELF IMPROVEMENT. As a result, ELON was obliged to race wide and without cover thereafter. Again near the 600 Metres, GUMMY GUMMY and ELON made contact.
Approaching the first turn near the 800 Metres, MARK THE MOMENT lay in, brushed the running rail and became unbalanced.
SELF IMPROVEMENT raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
After the race, K H Chan (SUGAR SUGAR) reported that, in his opinion, his mount did not appreciate racing on the All Weather surface. A veterinary inspection of SUGAR SUGAR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
GUMMY GUMMY and SELF IMPROVEMENT were sent for sampling.
