TRAVEL GUIDE (H182): Jumped only fairly. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of TRAVEL GUIDE, M L Yeung stated that his mount failed to travel at any stage of the event which he attributed to the fact that TRAVEL GUIDE did not appreciate the "Good to Yielding” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. YEE CHEONG WARRIOR (E025): Was sent for sampling post-race. RIGHT HONOURABLE (A164): Jumped awkwardly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. For some distance after the 400 Metres was held up behind YEE CHEONG WARRIOR. FAITHFUL TRINITY (A247): No report. TURTLE AGAIN (H083): After the 400 Metres was bumped and taken wider by YEE CHEONG WARRIOR when that runner shifted to the outside of BEAUTY NOVA to improve. MEDIC ELITE (G129): Was slow to begin and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 1400 Metres improved to the inside of TRAVEL GUIDE (M L Yeung) and then shortly after was steadied when crowded by TRAVEL GUIDE. M L Yeung was severely reprimanded and advised he must ensure he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground. DOUBLE SHOW (G250): No report. SUPER BUDDY (E205): No report. MIGHTY STAR (G117): Near the 400 Metres, C L Chau dropped his whip. Was sent for sampling post-race. TSUEN WAN GLORY (E403): After the race, L Hewitson stated that his intention was to hold a forward position but not necessarily lead. He said from the outside barrier he was able to improve to the lead without having to make too much use of his mount, but, in his opinion, TSUEN WAN GLORY was not suited by racing in that position and gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. BEAUTY NOVA (G232): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HAPPY MATADOR (G243): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
