GO GO GO (H196): When questioned, Z Purton stated that after settling back in the field, he was unable to proceed forward in the early part of the Home Straight when positioned behind COMPULSORY. He said as a result he elected to endeavour to obtain a narrow run between GENERAL WINNER and MASTER OF LUCK approaching the 250 Metres, but then was badly held up until near the 200 Metres where it made contact with MASTER OF LUCK. He added between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres he was then crowded when GENERAL WINNER (A Atzeni) shifted out whilst being ridden along. A Atzeni was advised to exercise more care. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MASTER OF LUCK (G276): Jumped only fairly and was bumped shortly after the start. Bumped near the 200 Metres. RATTAN WORLD (G384): Slow to begin. SUPER CONTENTED (H251): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 1200 Metres, when racing keenly, was steadied to avoid the heels of GREAT BRILLIANT when that runner was shifted in. Near the 900 Metres was briefly crowded by TSUEN WAN GLORY. Passing the 200 Metres was directed to the outside of TSUEN WAN GLORY to continue into clear running. TSUEN WAN GLORY (E403): In the middle stages raced keenly and near the 1000 Metres got its head up when being steadied to avoid the heels of MASTER OF LUCK. Trainer K L Man confirmed that from a wide barrier he had instructed A Badel to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages as TSUEN WAN GLORY had disappointed at its most recent starts when ridden in a more forward position. YOO YOO KNIGHT (H053): After the race, C L Chau reported that his mount raced keenly in the early stages when left without cover, lay out making the Home Turn and as a result was left without a finishing effort. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MULTIWIN (H023): No report. DEVIL AND GOLD (G443): Bumped on jumping. BEAT HOLLOW (G414): Near the 200 Metres, Apprentice E C W Wong was unable to ride his mount for a short distance when he had some difficulty in changing his whip from a backhand to a forehand grip. APEX TOP (D136): Sent for sampling post-race. GENERAL WINNER (E376): Raced wide and without cover from the 900 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. GREAT BRILLIANT (G287): Hampered on jumping. Noted to have bled from both nostrils. ANGELS HUNTER (G193): Jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race. COMPULSORY (E328): No report. ART LITE (H249): Withdrawn on 25.11.23 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter TSUEN WAN GLORY. Before being allowed to race again, ART LITE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
