DARCI JOY (E161): Jumped awkwardly. Approaching the 400 Metres was taken out.
MISTER DAPPER (H376): Near the 400 Metres was shifted to the inside of READY PLAYER ONE to secure clear running and as a result made contact with JUBILATION for some distance near the 350 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
PEGASUS GENERAL (G189): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
SUPER HONG KONG (D241): No report.
ROMANTIC FANTASY (H168): Kicked a rail when proceeding to the Start, examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Jumped only fairly.
SERANGOON (H296): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 400 Metres was steadied away from DARCI JOY when that runner was taken out slightly by ROMANTIC FANTASY. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
PAKISTAN FRIEND (B370): No report.
READY PLAYER ONE (G143): After the race, C Y Ho stated that he was able to take up a forward position, but, in his opinion, READY PLAYER ONE appreciates racing on tracks that have more give than today’s surface. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea.
FOREVER FOLKS (G463): No report.
JUBILATION (G029): Bumped at the start. Near the 350 Metres was bumped for some distance.
SHARPEN BRIGHT (H276): Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and bumped JUBILATION. Approaching the 1000 Metres made contact with the running rail.
SPECIAL HEDGE (H354): After the race, C L Chau stated that he was asked to take up a forward position from the inside barrier, but not necessarily lead. He said after commencing well he was able to lead without having to pressure his mount to do so. Sent for sampling post-race.
VINCY (B213): No report.
SUPER CONTENTED (H251): After the race, Trainer C Fownes confirmed that with the horse stepping up in distance today and with its light weight, he had instructed Jockey K De Melo to endeavour to take up a more forward position. Sent for sampling post-race.
